If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

If I had to write a poem about my life right now, it would be about struggling in school. I have been struggling in school in multiple different ways, such as my attendance and my grades. My attendance has been hard to keep up because I have had a lot going on outside of school preventing me from being able to come. I have also been struggling with my grades because of the school I have missed, and the assignments I have missed because of those days.  Today we took notes on how to write a rhetorical analysis  I learned how to write a thesis for a rhetorical analysis

When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

When I am in a mood that I don't like, such as frusterated or angry, I normally take a break from whatever it is that is making me feel that way. Normally, I will go play my guitar or listen to music. I will also play a game on my phone or watch something to calm me down. If I am really stressed, I usually go on a walk and it helps me feel better.  today we completed a newsela I learned how ice has the slippery layer on top

Describe your personal approach to creativity. What steps do you follow when you’re working on a project. Tell me about a project you created that you were most proud of.W

When I'm working on a project, I usually start by looking for inspiration. I am usually not great with my creative side, so I have to get inspiration or references to start. Once I have an Idea in my head, I will start to gather all of my supplies and put it together. The project I am post proud of that I have created is most likely my solar system planet project that I made in 5th grade. We had a rubric, so I had guidelines to go off of, but I made the solar system look my own way by painting planets in my own creative way.  today we did a writeable assignment on the vocabulary I learned about the story of the mystery of willow creek, and the life lesson that you should always fight for what you believe in

After two weeks of studying rhetorical devices, types of rhetoric, and methods for identifying rhetorical techniques, which rhetorical device do you find most effective or compelling, and why?

I find hyperbole's most effective because I think large exaggerations for things and events can really bring awareness and attention to the situation. I also think that It is the most used daily, because people use it every day in normal conversations to describe little things.  today we took a quiz  today I learned about the rhetorical devices used in whiplash when we watched it

Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

A time I didn't feel like myself was when I was hanging out with a group of people that were not nice. I was friends with them for a while, and I always felt like I didn't really fit in,  and I couldn't have a regular conversation with anybody without having to fake a part of me. Since then, I have made a new group of friends who don't make me feel left out.  I was absent

Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

A place where I feel most at peace is in my bed. I feel most at peace there because I know it's safe and it's really comfortable. I like being in my own room, with my own blankets, etc. If I were in someone else's bed, I wouldn't feel as at peace because I would miss what I know at home.  today we took notes and practiced writing metaphors, similes, and analogies. Today I learned how to write an analogy.

Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

A time when I had to rely on someone else was when I got in a car crash the other day and I had to rely on the cops and my parents to figure everything out. I was very scared and didn't know what to do, and I had to rely on the cops getting all of the info and working everything out.  I was absent this day

What life skills have you learned in high school that will help you live independently after high school? Which skills do you think are essential for your success after high school?

skills that I have learned how to communicate with people, especially people of authority with potential issues that I have with assignments or questions so that I can get help. I also have gained the skills of time management and learning how to use my time and schedule things that are important to me. these skills will help me beyond high school because in a real job, I will need to talk with my boss and also learn how to manage time for work.  today we did notes on trumps speech and wrote his rehtoric devices  I learned about rhetoric devices today and what they mean.

In 2–3 well-developed sentences, reflect on how you spent your Holiday Break. Then, identify four personal you would like to achieve this year and briefly explain why each goal is important to you (Copy and paste your completed response from Writable into your blog).

Over the break, I took a trip with my family to North Carolina where my dads side of the family lives. We got to see the mountains, which was really intriguing and beautiful. I also spent a lot of time at home, seeing other family and friends. We had family dinners, played games, and had many long conversations. Overall, it was a great break with lots of quality time with people I love.  My first goal that I want to achieve this year is keeping my attendance up . This goal is important to me because although I have complications, I care about my grades and learning ability.  To accomplish this goal, I will get more hours of sleep so that I am not tired, keep up with medications, and get friends and family to help motivate me to go to school. By May 2026, I plan to have better attendance than last semester.  My second goal that I want to achieve is keeping all my grades A's. T his is important because last semester I had two B's, and I was unhappy with it because I ...
