In “A Rose for Emily,” Miss Emily’s actions shock the reader—she kills her fiancé and keeps his body in her home for years. People often react with disbelief when they hear about real-life stories that seem just as unbelievable. Write about the most shocking or “craziest” news story you have ever heard. What happened, and why did it stand out to you? How did people react to it, and what does it reveal about human behavior?

The craziest new story that I've ever heard was the story Unknown number, which is a true event that happened between a mother, Kendra, and her daughter, Lauryn. Lauryn had a boyfriend at the time, then they mysteriously started receiving death threats and many other crazy messages constantly everyday. They brought it to the police and they could never figure out who it was. eventually, they traced it back to the mother. This was shocking for me, and I assume everyone watching. It was also shocking for their family. She then went to jail and got separated from her daughter, but Lauryn still forgives her mother.

today we read the rest of the story and then completed a chart

today I learned the different between direct and indirect characterization.
