Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?

A time where I paused to reflect of nature was when I was riding a horse up a mountain in Colorado. When we reached higher up on the mountain, we could see a beautiful range out beyond. I noticed the sounds of the wind and the horses walking, as well as the snow on the top of the mountains in the range. This moment of stillness changed my perspective because I realized how amazing the earth is to create views like that. I developed great appreciation for nature from that trip.

We did a one pager on a poem this day.

I learned about the acquainted to the night poem by Robert frost
