Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

 A time when someones words had a lasting impact on me were when my teacher once told me "everything happens for a reason." Ever since, I have come back to this quote when in doubt. Whenever I am worried about being late, or something like traffic, or an inconvenience, I remember that everything happens for a reason. I learn to trust that whatever comes at my way is meant to. 

Today we reviewed claims and evidence and explained why it was poor.

Today I learned that you cant use contractions in formal paragraphs.

 Something I have always been curious about is where we go after we die. Although I am religious and believe in Jesus, I still have occasional doubts in my head.  Over the break, I took a trip with my family to North Carolina where my dads side of the family lives. We got to see the mountains, which was really intriguing and beautiful. I also spent a lot of time at home, seeing other family and friends. We had family dinners, played games, and had many long conversations. Overall, it was a great break with lots of quality time with people I love.  My first goal that I want to achieve this year is keeping my attendance up . This goal is important to me because although I have complications, I care about my grades and learning ability.  To accomplish this goal, I will get more hours of sleep so that I am not tired, keep up with medications, and get friends and family to help motivate me to go to school.
