In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

One time that I felt like an Interloper was when I was at a party with a lot of popular people from my school. I'm kind of friends with the majority of them, but we definitely don't speak on a daily basis. At the party, I really didn't talk to anyone because I wasn't friends with them and I was only one of the only people not drinking. It made me feel really out of place and I left early because I felt like I didn't belong there.

Today we did a commonlit on the interlopers

I learned that an interloper was someone who didn't belong or looked out of place.
